Before installing the Jobify theme, ensure that you have a working version of WordPress already installed on your hosting environment.

📦 Installation Methods

You can install the Jobify theme using one of the two standard WordPress methods:

1️⃣ Install via WordPress Dashboard (Recommended)

1. Log into your WordPress admin dashboard.
2. Navigate to Appearance ▸ Themes.
3. Click the Add New button at the top, then click Upload Theme.
4. Click Browse and select the jobify.zip theme file (not the full ThemeForest package).
5. Click Install Now and wait for the installation to complete.
6. Click Activate once the install is successful.

2️⃣ Install via FTP

1. Extract the jobify.zip file on your computer. This will create a jobify folder.
2. Connect to your server using an FTP program (e.g., FileZilla).
3. Navigate to the /wp-content/themes/ directory.
4. Upload the entire jobify folder to this directory.
5. Once uploaded, log into your WordPress dashboard.
6. Go to Appearance ▸ Themes and click Activate under Jobify.

⚠️ Theme Files Only

If you’ve downloaded the full package from ThemeForest, be sure to extract it first and use only the jobify.zip file for installation.

The full download package contains documentation, demo content, and license files which should not be uploaded to WordPress.

• If you’re downloading from ThemeForest, choose the option: Download ▸ Installable WordPress file only.
• Alternatively, unzip the full download package and locate the jobify.zip file inside.

🔧 After Installation

Once the theme is activated, you’ll be prompted to install required plugins such as:

• WP Job Manager
• WooCommerce
• Astoundify extensions (e.g., Resume Manager, Applications, Listing Payments)

We recommend using the Setup Wizard to guide you through plugin installations and demo content import.
